Our mission

Our business is your business. Fire & Reign's mission is nation building through cultural empowerment and transformational change. We believe in empowering people to empower communities, to build a nation. We believe in making your dreams become your reality, and your goals a possibility!

The Technical Stuff

Fire & Reign Academy has three focus areas:

Cultural Empowerment

Our bespoke group coaching programs for First Nations people are designed to meet the needs of individuals, teams, and targeted groups. We deliver face-to-face or online strengths-based workshops that focus on past, present, and future contexts. They are jam-packed with lifelong coping strategies and tools to help make informed decisions, build stronger teams and strong communities.

Cultural Safety - Tribal Backdrop

To build strong relationships of trust and understanding between First Nations peoples and the wider community, Fire & Reign's Cultural Safety workshop focuses on social, historical, cultural, and constitutional contexts that adjusts the cultural lens and see things through the eyes and life of modern Aboriginality. Truth-telling and deep listening is a crucial step to understanding each other and the healing of a nation. Tribal Backdrop is an informative and compelling workshop that helps people grasp Australia's political and societal history through strengths-based conversations to find our purpose and space in Australia's journey to cultural convergence.

Mentoring Matters

Everyone needs one-to-one mentoring, from leaders of nations to CEO’s, employees, and individuals.  Often, group coaching can be daunting for First Nations people to express their inner most thoughts and emotions. Privacy, confidentiality, trust, and one-to-one focus in a culturally safe space can be lifesaving and life changing.

Jillian provides quality client focused mentoring to build confidence, clarity, and lifelong coping strategies. Jillian creates a safety net of wrap around support and advocates for each client by engaging employers, schools, cultural educators/elders, family, and health & wellbeing support networks if/when necessary.

"The Year 10 SET Plan Empowerment workshop delivered by Fire & Reign Academy is more than a roadmap for post-school pathways; it is a powerful opportunity for young people, supported by their families to engage in strength-based conversations, confront social realities, and envision bold futures grounded in confidence, connection, and truth. Fire & Reign Academy's workshop is an essential part of our SET Plan program. It is strategically scheduled to precede the careers market and school-based SET Plan interviews. It is what brings it all together for our young people in a culturally safe space."

"Jillian spoke words straight to the heart of everyone around her. I cannot recall a time in the past where I have listened to a motivational speaker and have been completely focused. Jillian's wealth of knowledge about Indigenous culture was amazing. She was uplifting and confident in what she was delivering. After I listened to Jillian's speech, I walked away feeling empowered, motivated, and ready to take on the world. Jillian really has a gift that should be shared with everyone."

"Jillian is an inspiration to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as well as the wider community. She has a brilliant ability to connect past and present through her moving poetry. There are no words that can express the feelings she is able to evoke in her listeners, moving them to believe in themselves and motivating them to take action. Hearing her speak publicly gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. I am glad to know that through Fire & Reign Academy, she now has a platform to share all of her passion, expertise, and energy with the whole world to keep making it and all of us, a bit better."
